  1. March 2013

March 2013 – there is something always vibrant about the month of March. It’s probably a lot to do with the hope of spring and warmer weather, light nights with the change of clocks, and without a doubt the March madness of St. Patrick’s Day celebrations. Rehearsals with Celtic Krystal are all scheduled for our green weekend around the 17th March 2013. The band kicks off at La Concha in Letchworth on Friday 15th March 2013 at 8.30pm. February 2013 – This month may well be the month of love, but firstly I would ‘love’ to thank all those people, who attended the Burns’ Suppers in Letchworth and at The Victoria in Hitchin. Some of the events will be covered by Celtic Music Radio, so you can always hear this on line at www.celticmusicradio.net if, like me, …

    Christmas Tree and Presents

December looks to be an exciting month to end 2012 with production work for Joanne Farrell in concert in North London and for Paul B. Edwards Comedy night at the Victoria in Hitchin. This month saw the release of the Hitchin Community CD ‘A Hitchin Christmas’, which features ‘Lord of the Dance’ ~ Celtic Krystal (track 2) and ‘In the Bleak Mid Winter’ ~ Robin (track 10) amidst many other choirs, bands and musos from the town. The CD, a nice little stocking filler, is raising funds for the Hitchin Christmas Lights fund, and was sponsored by Hitchin BID and …
