    From Glasgow, Robin’s classical upbringing was in piano, violin, and vocal. Robin sang in the highly successful Scottish folk duo ‘Lomond Folk’, until the death of his singing partner Donald Brown in 1977. A solo career followed, before moving south of the border to pastures new. Robin has experienced many musical genres during his years, but has now returned to his roots to enjoy some real traditional musical moments in Celtic Krystal

    Krystal Woodbridge

    Krystal followed a classical upbringing in violin, but her love of fiddle tunes and folksong be they Scottish, Orkney or Shetland, Irish or English is her passion, when playing with Celtic Krystal. A founder member of the group, sharing her name in part, she brings a sensitivity to the music, blending and distilling the melodic with the harmonic for others to enjoy.

    Duncan Ivory

    From the late 70’s Duncan played Bass in covers bands touring the pubs and clubs of west London. He then moved to playing lead guitar during the mid 80’s playing everything from soul – pop – blues – country & western – hard rock. Bringing his Scottish heritage to music, he has gone back to his first love, playing bass, and enjoys using his wealth of experience in the music world to add a twist of Bass to Celtic music. Duncan has played with us since his baptism of Celtic fire, on St.Patrick’s Day 2014.

  • Stephen Cordiner

    Stephen Cordiner

    Stephen grew up with folk music in the fishing town of Lossiemouth, North East Scotland. He continued his music studies at Gordonstoun School and then at the Royal Northern College of Music, where he studied classical music with Leader of the BBC Philharmonic Yuri Torchinski. While carrying on his love of Scottish traditional music, he won the prestigious Glenfiddich Fiddle Championships. Stephen adjudicates at traditional competitions such as the Caithness Music Festival in Wick. Stephen enjoys a varied musical career and has worked with pop artists such as Badly Drawn Boy and Lady Gaga, and with orchestras and chamber groups across Europe. Stephen performs with and manages the Kingswood String Quartet, which is well established as one of the top ensembles in the South of France.

  • Dicky Deegan

    Dicky Deegan
    Uilleann Pipes & Whistles

    Dicky is a master of the Uilleann Pipes. Dicky, born north of London to Irish parents, is now based in Hull. Dicky spent many years in Australia working antipodean gigs and festivals and also teamed up with didgeridoo legend Mark Atkins. Dicky has played tin whistle for 45years and Uillean pipes for 30years worldwide. It is great to have Dicky to play, when he is available!
